This year there will be a BBQ for all members on the last day of our Open Water Training. The BBQ will take place after our normal open water training session, however we will be starting training at 6pm to give us enough time to have the BBQ while we still have light, as the evenings will be drawing in.

The BBQ will be held at the beach area, so once everyone is changed we will make our way round to the beach area. We ask that you bring your own food along, this makes it easier to cater for everyone.

There are only 3 weeks of open water training left, so if you are due to do any open water exams, including retakes, get down to the lake as soon as you can, don't leave it till the last night!

Training will start at 6pm so we can get the BBQ lit by 7:30!

Don't forget to bring your own food!

The Club will be running a First Aid at Work Course when we start back at the Pavilions on 2nd September. The course will run for 8 weeks, 8pm till 10pm with an exam on 21st October and will cost only £40, would normally cost £150!

This is a great opportunity to do this qualification at a very discounted rate!

There is space on the course and we are now opening it up to non members, so if you know anyone who wants to do a First Aid at Work Course forward this to them.
